Toddler Program

Comforting, Play-based Environments

Marathon Children and Family Centre’s Toddler Program offers an exceptional care program for children between the ages of 18 – 30 months. We structure our Toddler Program around the Reggio Emilia Principles. We trust that children learn best in comforting and familiar environments while playing.

We take daily observations in order to ensure that our activities are enriching while also up-to-date with the interests of the children. Educators continually ensure that a variety of fitting play experiences are available to children of corresponding ages. Activities which encourage children’s innate inquisitiveness and work to help entice development such as sensory play are made easily accessible to children. Along with everyday observation, daily verbal as well as written communication between educators and parents is made a priority to ensure the centre is providing each and every child with the quality care we promise.
